​We are honored to have Marion Moss Hubbard, Ph.D., on our ICF board. Dr. Hubbard, a pioneer in Transpersonal Psychology, brings profound insights into the human psyche and creative expression. As the founder of Heroic Journey Consulting, she empowers individuals to navigate their unique paths and overcome personal challenges. ​MEET Mark Butland, PH.D.: OUR BOARD Chair

Dr. Mark J Butland is an author, researcher, and communication professor, recently retired from serving as Dean of Learning and Instruction at Calbright College, California’s state-wide online community college. Butland has been recognized for his excellence in teaching and scholarship, having made significant contributions to higher education through his textbooks and innovative approaches to teaching and learning. With a career spanning over 40 years, prior to Calbright, Mark has served as faculty at Austin Community College, Baylor University, and Texas State University, and as Dean at Kirkwood Community College and Southwestern College.

​MEET Lisa Longworth, PH.D.: Founder, Executive Director

Dr. Lisa Longworth is a scientist of human evolution, acclaimed artist, award-winning author, therapist, and speaker. Her work—shaped by a near-death experience following brain surgery—centers on the transformative power of creativity to expand human potential. Early in her life she trained with astrophysicist Andrew Galambos, and in her 20s engaged in five years of near-daily dialogue with Dr. Jonas Salk on human evolution and the future of humanity. She also studied with physician Dr. Paul Brenner, integrating embodiment and healing practices, and apprenticed with indigenous shaman elders in the Amazon, grounding her research in earth-based wisdom. These diverse influences shaped her path of bridging Western biology, psychology, and indigenous knowledge. She founded the International Creativity Foundation (ICF) to foster personal, community, and planetary transformation through creativity, connection, and higher consciousness. Her pioneering contributions include the Cocoon to Butterfly® books, online courses, and a teacher training certification program that has guided thousands through their own creative metamorphosis.

MEET Lukas Lachenmeirer,MBA, Our Financial ADVISOR

Lukas Lachenmeier, MBA, blends his expertise in the financial world with his creativity as both a painter and a filmmaker. He holds an economics degree from the University of Zürich and attended the USC School of Cinematic Arts Master's program in Los Angeles. As an entrepreneur, he has successfully started and sold two companies. As an artist, he paints daily. Lukas splits his time between Los Angeles and Switzerland.
